Oh, those look delicious! I’m jealous. I haven’t tried growing strawberries yet but I hope to put in a patch next year. What kind are those? Glad I found your site!
Michelle
The variety is Tribute. They are everbearers, and very tasty. Thanks for stopping by!
I LOVE “seeing red”! Yum!
Love the red on turquoise!
~a moment we are patiently awaiting…just blooms so far for us…and we have a little friend (varmint..squirrel) we usually have to battle in order to savor just one sweet juicy strawberry that has come to be…l♥vely photos…warm wishes and brightest blessings~
YUM! I hope to plant my strawberries today. You have given me inspiration. What beauties!
I love strawberry season, and those look tasty! We’ve been seeing a little red ourselves the last few days. So far none of ours have made it into the house though! We’re growing San Andreas, and an ever-bearing variety called Eversweet.
Yummmmm! I haven’t put mine outdoors yet. We got another two inches of snow overnight, so it might be a while.
Boy they look yummy! My strawberry plants have had green berries for a while now. We had a cold spell…so I guess I will have to wait a week or two.
yes, love the color contrast in that last one..yummy
Are you sure you live in zone 6??? How on earth do you have ripe strawberries already???
Thomas, this is about our normal time to start getting ripe strawberries. It will be another week or so before our June bearers are ripe (that’s a late variety called Jewel).
Umm… strawberries! Yum, yum!
We had a few more for breakfast this morning. They were yummy!
Oooh! We are seeing red here at The Havens right now too. The new strawberry bed is performing beautifully, and we have bird net over it, much to the frustration of the cardinals, robins, and sparrows. In the past three days we have gotten three quarts of berries. Soon we will be sated enough that we can start freezing some. I love strawberry season. Yours are beautiful..
Beautiful! Strawberry season is the best. 🙂
