Return of Son of Scratchy

This is one sequel I was not surprised to see. After a few days of “playing nice” and only eating the seeds which fell to the ground, our less-than-favorite squirrel was back – this time at the biggest feeder. So much for greasing the metal hanger!

As soon as I opened the door, he heard me and stopped stuffing sunflower seeds in his mouth.

uh-oh, better get outta here!

I better get outta here!

Time for Mr McGregor to do his thing!

  1. Opportunistic little buggers, aren’t they?

You do realize squirrels love sunflower seeds, right? LOL Try switching to safflower seeds. The favorite area birds will still visit (they love safflower) but the squirrels will be looking for some free grub elsewhere (unless they adapt, I suppose).

Aside from that, squirrel stew is quite good.

I will give the safflower seeds a try. I’m almost at the end of a big bag of sunflower seeds, so the timing is good. I’d love to send SOS somewhere else for grub!
