I haven’t posted any news about Facer lately, so I need to give an update. Facer is the orange tabby that showed up at HA last fall, looking for a new home. Since we were at our quota of three house kitties at the time, we found a great home for him with some folks that were looking for feline company.
Facer was briefly known as Sunny during his short stay with us here. His new Humans named him Facer because they found out about him through my wife’s Facebook posting advertising his need for new lodging.
He was adorable and hard to let go, but Facer hit the jackpot for sure. He adapted quite quickly at his new digs, even finding part time work as Santa last Christmas.
When he wasn’t being Santa, he enjoyed nap time with his Human.
The latest update from FB has him holding down the lawn furniture, no doubt on one of those windy days we’ve had lately. Rumor has it that he has a new tortoiseshell sister named Tinkerbelle, but we have yet to see her mug shots. One thing is for sure: this is a story with a happy ending for all involved. And I just love a story with a happy ending, don’t you?
I sure do! Facer is one lucky kitty to have found you, and I’m sure his forever family feels the same. It’s too bad all lost and abandoned animals can’t be as lucky as “Sunny”.
Happy ending, indeed! It’s a nice, heartwarming tale. 🙂
Oh, Facer looks very very happy!! Thanks for giving us an update!
What an adorable story about Facer!! I love happy endings since this world is so full of sad stories. Facer’s new parents are great people–I know the lady of the house real well through Vand Co. CASA.
Boy, that is some cat! Very versitile, isn’t he? 🙂 What a delightful story! Very well written. I found my self grinnin’ through the whole story. I love cats and am very happy he was able to find such a loving home.
I adore cats & I happen to love dogs too. I care about all animals. I cannot say the same for all humans. I’m so glad to see some good stories about cats. I receive many requests for money from groups that send horrible stories of animal abuse. It’s good for my soul to hear about Facer. Thank you!
Okay, your stock has just gone up, Villager! 🙂 Thank you so much for helping this cat find his way to a good, loving home! I’m so glad he is safe and happy and cared for! Thank you for helping him to avoid the hard life of an outdoor / homeless cat. Go Facer!
