It has been a little over a month since we got new kitty Ace from the shelter. He was not quite 5 months old when we got him at a “meet & greet” put on by the local shelters and hosted in the Petsmart parking lot. On a hot day, in the middle of all the commotion with people, other cats, and nearby barking dogs, Ace let us carry him around like a doll. It was pretty much love at first sight!

He is quite affectionate, and loves to be picked up and held. So much so in fact, it is often hard to get anything done. Much of my blogging is now done one-handed!

But he’s not always on my lap. He spends just as much time ‘helping’ my wife in her office (aka the Woman Cave).
