I took these photos of Orange Jewelweed on a fall trip to Brown County (Indiana) State Park. My wife and I went on a guided wildflower walk there, led by a park naturalist. It was a wonderful and very informative two hour walk that opened our eyes to the many native wildflowers in our own backyard.

This last photo is not a closeup, but illustrates how Jewelweed is often growing in the same area as poison ivy. The juice from the stems of Jewelweed has long been used to treat the rash from poison ivy and other irritant plants.
